5. Glitter Roots

This NYE trend is for the bold and whimsical. It’s 100% something I will be attempting with silver and gold glitter for my New Years look along with my sequin high-low dress because NYE is made for sequins and glitter!
How to: Dab a small amount of pomade down the part of your hair over your roots. Dust some loose sparkles over the pomade with a makeup brush and dab with your finger to secure in place. Hairspray the section for more hold throughout the night!
4. Lip Primer

No one wants dried out or misshapen lips when the clock strikes midnight on New Years eve. Before applying any lip products, get yourself some lip primer. I suggest NYX Cosmetics primer because it’s cheap and it works.
How to: Simply apply the primer over your lips, covering the entire surface. Follow with a good lip-liner and your favorite lipstick for a fool-proof pair of NYE kiss-ready lips.
3. Bronze Eyes, Wine Lips

You’ll probably be drinking wine all night anyway, so why not start with wine colored lips? Wine lips are a hot trend this winter and are especially daring when paired with bronze eye-shadows. The best part, is this color combination looks great on just about anyone, so ditch the usual dark smoky-eye for brighter gold shadow and a dark brown liner. Rock this look with an LBD like this criss cross strapless one and let your makeup stand out!
2. Under-Eye Glitter Liner

This look is straight off the runway, literally.
How to: Start out by applying a bold, black liquid liner to your top lid over a neutral shadow. Second, apply a small amount of Too Faced Glitter Shadow Primer all the way across under your bottom lashes with a q-tip. Dip the other side of the q-tip in loose glitter and carefully dab it over the primer. Gently fan the area with your eye closed until dry and then spritz with a makeup setting spray to finish the look.
1. Get That Glow

Even though we’re probably all pale from winter weather, it doesn’t mean we can’t fake a gorgeous summer glow.
How to: Pair your foundation with an exaggerated shimmery highlighter across your cheekbones, forehead, and down the center of your nose. Dust your bronzer around the highlighted sections in the hollows of your cheeks, down the sides of your nose and blend, blend, blend. This bronzed look will pair perfectly with this jeweled strapless dress.
