This week we’re sharing Friday Favorites Thanksgiving style! Scroll through Repeatpo’s picks of favorite Thanksgiving apparel, favorite Thanksgiving DIY projects, favorite fall decorations etc. that have been popular this season!
Favorite Thanksgiving Tops
T-Party Apparel makes the most comfortable tunics and tops that are perfect for the turkey day feasting to come! The T-Party Ombre Cowl Neck Sweater (left) comes in a luxurious shade of tan that melts into chestnut and chocolate brown. The soft material and cowl neck will leave you warm and comfortable come Thanksgiving Day. The T-Party Relaxed Shoulder Weave Top is another great option! The embellished sleeves allow for a more dressed-up look should granny be concerned you wear your Thanksgiving best when she ladles mashed potatoes onto your plate!
Favorite Decadent Thanksgiving Dessert
This Double Pumpkin Poke Cake looks amazing! And the recipe looks pretty manageable as well! Yes, it’s completely unhealthy and fattening, but Thanksgiving is meant for a little more indulgence, isn’t it? Find this recipe as well as those of many other delicious treats on Beyond Frosting.
Favorite Healthy Thanksgiving Recipe
Ditch the processed, canned cranberry sauce and try this recipe for the healthier, homemade alternative! The Pioneer Woman provides an easy recipe for homemade cranberry sauce using fresh cranberries, pure maple syrup instead of sugar, and cranberry juice with a touch of citrus! You can also try a number of cranberry juice combinations using orange or apple juice etc. to give you the flavor you’re looking for.
Favorite Thanksgiving Make-up
Incorporating that lovely cranberry color into your Turkey Day makeup is an idea that also makes the Friday Favorites! I love the warm, sultry elements that it will add to your look. But I’m also a huge fan of the changing fall leaves and fields of bright orange pumpkins, so the more golden and orange smoky eye effect is also a winner this week!
Favorite Post thanksgiving Meal Clothes
Even with some healthy homemade cranberry sauce, we all know it is difficult to pass up the less healthy items like gravy and stuffing…and stuffing. I’m sure that there are healthier options for gravy and stuffing too, but on the off chance that you do not attend a totally Green Thanksgiving Dinner, you should consider changing into T-Party’s luxuriously comfortable yoga pants post Thanksgiving Dinner! The T-Party Relaxed Fit Drawstring Yoga Pants will definitely give us the leeway we might need, while the T-Party Wide-Band Heather Yoga Pants will give that tummy the extra tuck it might need post stuffing! And the T-Party Vintage Hawaiian Harem Pants are just perfect for lounging!
Favorite Post Thanksgiving Exercise
I’m personally afraid of waking up with the thighs of a turkey after Thanksgiving. So the Blogilates Thankful Thighs Thanksgiving Workout is definitely one I’m grateful for! Though I may not be able to spot reduce, I can at least strength the thighs and avoid turkey thunder thighs in the long run.
Favorite Thanksgiving DIY Project
I love falling leaves so I’m a huge fan of this DIY project. And it is really easy to make! All you need is a hard drying glue – I think Mod Podge would be sufficient – a balloon, a brush, and fall leaves!
All you have to do is blow up the balloon, make sure it is in a secure position, and layer the top of it with glue. Then you can layer the balloon with leaf after leaf until you are satisfied with the size and shape of the bowl. With each additional layer, just cover each leaf with more glue so they will all stick together once dry!
Once the glue dries completely, you can pop the balloon and peel it out of the bowl to reveal a beautiful DIY bowl made of fall leaves! Just don’t try to eat Thanksgiving Dinner out of your lovely homemade bowl!
Another option to create your bowl would be to place Saran Wrap over a bowl with the shape you’d like for your DIY creation and repeat the layering process without a balloon!
Favorite Thanksgiving Movie
I don’t see any Thanksgiving-related films coming up for 2014 (correct me if I’m wrong)! So I decided to add a classic to our Friday Favorites. And who doesn’t like a good laugh with Planes, Trains and Automobiles!
