Repeat Meet’n'Greet: Chandra Robrock
After having just launched her own line of collegiate gameday bracelets, we had to get to know Chandra!
What celeb(s) would you say you get most of your fashion inspiration from?
For everyday style, I always find myself looking to Rachel Bilson. Her style is chic, put together yet effortless. I also love going to none other than Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen for fashion inspiration because they always stay true to who they are while constantly pushing the envelope. Lately, I have been loving Blake Lively & Katie Cassidy.

What 2011 trend is your favorite/or must try?
The sheer maxi skirt! This is one of my favorite trends to watch how girls are wearing it on the street. There are so many different ways to style this trend that no two people really wear this trend the same way.

Describe your perfect college game day outfit?
For me, the perfect college game day outfit is all about layering. In Florida, game days are usually 80+ degrees which can be painful at times. I love wearing a garnet bandeau top with an oversized gold cutout top & shorts accessorized with my gameday bracelets. I also really enjoy cutting up my own FSU shirts to wear during football games.
What advice would you give to new students?
Experience everything. Be a sponge & soak it all in. Most importantly, pick a major that you are passionate about. I interned in New York this summer & worked everyday from 9-6. Even though the hours were long, I can honestly say I loved every minute of it. If you are passionate about what you are doing, it won’t feel like work – trust me.
Do you prefer to study alone or in group? Cram the night before or slowly build up?
I usually prefer to study alone unless it is an awesome study group! There are always those classes that would be impossible to pass without an awesome study group but more often, I study alone because it just doesn’t take as long. I usually cram the night (or day) before a test.
What inspired you to create fsu fashion girl blog?
At the end of my freshman year, I knew I wanted to work in the fashion industry but I had no idea what exactly I wanted to do. I thought about working for a magazine which initially was why I started the blog – sort of like my own fashion magazine for college students. Even though my heart is set on public relations & social media now, I am so happy that I started my blog because it has really opened the door to so many different opportunities.
Would you consider making Gameday bracelets for other sports? teams? Hogwarts?
Although my name is “FSU Fashion Girl,” I really wanted to make my gameday collection available to all schools. So yes, I accept all special requests for every school, sorority, etc.
